Who doesn’t want to be recognized for having a high intellect? Not that recognition is everything of course. But really, being called an intellectual is still a good thing isn’t it? We think so!

Intellect, to us, isn’t about being the smartest person in the room. It is not about knowing the laws of physics or reading the classics (though we are fond of them). Intellect is about spending the time to inform yourself and share with others. It is about becoming knowledgeable about the origins and workings of the the things we consume in both the literal and figurative sense. Intellect is born of curiosity and exploration.

Foraging is the act of finding those topics that interest you. This site aims to be a collection of the wide and wonderous subjects that appeal to us and the ones we have yet to discover. While we hope to create content that is interesting and engaging for you, our ultimate goal is to inspire you to go out and forage for yourself. To see how taking the time to read, to travel, to cook, to visit a museum, to take a class, to have discussions or even debates is worth it.
